Well I end up "improving" my way back to basically re-creating the Minelayer mechanic from Mothergunship(great game):
though mine isn't an AOE DOT and has a slowing effect.

If AMD ever wants to effectively compete with Nvidia they will need to make die space efficient GPUs. Because in the unlikely scenario that AMD starts eating into Nvidia's volume. Nvidia has more room to lower prices than AMD does.

Messing around with Godot's built in noise+gradient features for making materials and I made this and I think it looks metal AF. Unfortunately I've not yet found an application for it.

This is exactly the kind of damage that having fuses on the 12V inputs can prevent/minimize. I think it's ridiculous that 500+ USD devices don't come with a 10cent fuse on each of the main power inputs. (admittedly the 12V high failure rate connector makes adding fuses more complicated)
