I saw some ai generation accusations a few days ago
and today I saw something about JFK getting assassinated with the graviton lance in lore and i still have no clue if either are true

it's like tossing a french fry out in a parking lot full of seagulls

The *first* cutscene after the tutorial has dialogue that sounds off
Quest lines,
Most if not all of Celeste's lines feel fake
I can't really say I understand why they go to TTS when they use it for important dialogue as well
other than the CEO being cheap and greedy as usual

The main problem I have the whole AI voice acting is that it just feels lazy and unnecessary
They shouldn't have to use TTS for human characters regardless of if it's Gen AI or not. They have the actors, how much more effort can it really be to have them come in to record new lines?

I want to be able to play the game and fully enjoy it but those shitty lifeless voices coming out of those characters ruins it so bad

it's so depressing how unaware they are abt their own story
I'm so sick of companies wanting to produce shit as fast as possible. They've got a good game from aesthetics to gameplay but why not care about the voice actors??
Why is that the thing slowing them down??

I've been on my hands and knees hoping for them to drop the ai shit bc their reasoning behind using it is so stupid
