This actually sounds like a pretty good idea at a high level but if I asked you what our most pressing national challenges are would you list any of these

I think one antidote to pundit scolding would be talking a lot more about methane. I just heard another big-name energy transition podcast that hosted an expert who said gas reduces emissions. No correction. It's no longer 2019! We know this isn't true.

Deregulated consumer electric supply (with no community aggregation allowed) is such a joke. Now in addition to “suppliers” I get mail from “brokers”. People shouldn’t be asked to wade through hundreds of options and somehow sort the good offers from the shady.

Texas and Pennsylvania are the #1 and #2 producers of gas in the US. Since fracking took off in PA (late 2000s), electricity prices have been ~20% higher than in Texas. Texas has added a ton of renewables and some gas, while PA has only added gas

If, like me, you didn’t know about savory smores (in this case roasted babybel cheese and french onion chutney on a cracker), you may be in for a life-changing experience. Even better after a long bike ride.

Four governors speaking to a packed house in Philly about electricity load forecasting, FRRs, interconnection, and even leaving PJM. I’d say electricity prices are a having a political moment.
