i finally got around to trying this and made another discovery: my (european) copy of the game is a newer build that doesn't crash :<

today, in ninee's advances in antialiased bitmap font production: finally trying the industry standard thing and just making a vector font with a specific target pixel size

so i was wanting to try other kinds of ergo keyboards and wallowing over cost and components and shipping... and then i rembered that i have a 3d printer and a set of spare switches and keycaps
the top half of a kyria keyboard shell made for handwiring; i put switches and keycaps on it for testing the layout, but there's no electronics inside the same thing but with the top shell for a tbk mini

finally got a fresh linux going in my desktop computer. just in time before the ubuntu 20.04 install i was using hits eol this summer :D

finally finished what has been my longest-running 3d printing project so far: clp keycap set for my lily58 :>
a lily58 split mechanical keyboard that's been equipped with some basic tenting legs and 3d-printed keycaps in the clp profile, which are arranged to match the fingers' movement curves. alphas and inner thumb keys are printed in matte white, while the remaining keys are a bluish gray

debating getting a smol desktop computer to keep at my parents' place or as backup and the way the newer thinkcentres kinda look like mini nextstations is not helping
a lenovo thinkcentre m70q, which has a ventilation grille on the front side running the length of the case, vaguely resembling the one on the nextstation enough for me to make the association when i saw one in the local classifieds
