ChatGPT was recently measured to have ~4% of search share - remarkable compared to even something like Bing, which is just under 2% and been around forever (in internet time)

Worse: click thru rates crater when AI overviews are offered. Some measures are -15 to -20% (from last year, I presume)

There seems to be a direct tradeoff in volume between spirits and "other" which includes "sorghum, maize, millet, rice, or cider, fruit wine, fortified wine." So I wonder if it's a legal/tax/classification thing?

Circana and Nielsen both collect scanner data on all that, although the collection you may be imagining would be a customized collection of those things. Carbonated soft drinks, juice, etc. fall into their own categories, but the info is out there!
