✅ Last but not least WE MET HIS MAJESTY KING PHILIPPE. The signal could not be stronger. Thank you @belgianroyalpalace fo making it happen and having us being part of it. 👑

✅ Our citizen proposal reached more than 1k signatures and got a green light from the Parliament! Next step👉🏻 mixed committee with 45 citizens and 15 politicians, starting early 2026🤘🏻🚦

✅ We continued our advocacy efforts by meeting different politicians. This time it was Aurely Czekalski from @mrlachambre.bsky.social and Imane Belguani from @openvld.bsky.social 🙌

✅ We liaised with another important citizen movement in Brussels, "Les 40 comites". Great to hear more like-minded people with a huge network across Brussels 🤠

✅As our community is growing, so does our professionalism. In October we launched a WEBSITE putting together all useful information on the topic incl. our ideas on how to solve it (big shoutout to @makeamarkbrussels) 👉🏻 LINK in BIO 🙏

✅ Together with @Volt we organised a debate "Une ville propre, une ville belle" between the region @bruproprete commune of Ixelles @geoffroykensier and us on the challenges and solutions to the persisting problem of cleanliness 🗑

⚡ Simplify responsibilities:
End the regional/municipal split for street cleaning. Give municipalities full responsibility within their borders. Coordinate region-wide policy through a revitalised Clean.Brussels platform.

✅Last but not least we centralised all the (available) communal coalition agreements and summarised them on the issue of cleanliness 🥸
