When I tried to find a picture to reference this joke most of them were actual shaped balloon animal snakes. Impressive work but come on, if you're NOT doing the punchline version I feel it misses the point.

I knew it would have to be something from Mirage. Back in 1996 we'd convinced Mom to drive us to Santa Fe for our first organized sealed play so it feels special. Just looked through the set and given how much I squealed when I saw Enkundu Griffon that's the one.

Not a major tourist destination, but I grew up with a backyard some people would drive for hours to come see.

I really need to find an excuse to get back there, it's been far too long. After having the Rio Grande basin as my backyard everything else feels claustrophobic.

Went 6-3 with this OTJ quick draft. Wasn't expecting much but when you have a bunch of little guys and removal you have an aggro deck even if nothing really steamrolls. And double lasso was just mean.

On the one hand it being dark so long is disorienting and frustrating. On the other hand seeing a sunrise from the correct side of the day feels amazing.

It's not that weird, but I love my jar wrench. Good grip, good leverage, and a lot sturdier than other "jar openers" which seem to assume you only need grip and overcomplicate what a dishtowel could do.
