More importantly why aren’t people nicer to each other?

New Zealand had a wonderful scheme to stop young people taking up smoking. Of course their new government ditched it. There's no reason for Australia not to implement the same kind of policy ... except that our gov is owned by its sponsors.

To the contrary, we should develop a society where people are respected, have the social services they need, have an affordable roof over their head, access to free education at all levels and universally free healthcare. If they don't, we all suffer the consequences.

Totally they should. They can start by paying tax.

Even though it’s so not their fault, but the fault of society that wants to blame them for the addiction their society made them a part of. Cool.

Many people get sick for no reason having never drunk alcohol or smoked cigarettes. Why do so many people feel the need to find blame in other people’s health issues?
