All that is needed for evil to prevail is for some rich Aussie asshole to start a propaganda TV network and lie to 40% of America for a fucking generation...

The FDA vaccine head, like his boss, always overstates the risks of vaccines or issues provocative headlines without providing actual evidence.

They did the same thing again over the weekend.

In other news Kim Kardashian has low brain function yet she finagles high-profile event invitations & runs multiple enterprises without being able to read well, apply critical analysis skills or think deeply - what does that say about America? She has fabulous people & determination -rock on Kim

any recruit would know the law. That's the first thing they learn.
But a 4 star admiral is supposed to be a guardrail against criminality.
The democrats who are veterans even put out a video reminding troops not to obey illegal orders - and then Mitch Bradley goes and carries out illegal orders.

Of course. I'm not arguing that Bradley's not criminally responsible, only that Hegseth is too, and Leavitt's attempt to defend him only strengthens the case against him.

Hegseth was also a commissioned officer trained in US military law and internationally agreed-upon laws of war (UCMJ and LOAC respectively). They can't claim incompetence when Hegseth would've been repeatedly and explicitly taught, during his academic and field training, that what he did is a crime.

We knew Hesgeth was incompetent and lawless.
We should expect a 4 star Admiral to refuse to carry out crimes.
Senator Mark Kelly -who has shot down and sunk ships - said as much - that he would have refused such an order.

They're both pretty fucked up, I'd think - civilians in positions of military command should know what kinds of orders are lawful or unlawful, or have experienced advisers like senior attorneys on hand to, y'know, advise them on the matter, because everything in our military is civilian-controlled.

The idiot and criminal Hesgeth gave the ILLEGAL order to commit murder but it was 4 star admiral Bradley who knowingly executed the murder.
That is more disturbing than Hesgeth.

ADM Holsey, the SOUTHCOM commander, retires 12 December - with only a year into his appointment. ADM Holsey would not do what ADM Bradley did - follow an unlawful order. ADM Bradley is going to have quite a tough review board.

Killing people hanging on for dear life of a wreckage caused by the U.S. military is outright murder.

I hope this brings down Hegseth, Trump and every one below them for carrying out this kill order.

Yep, and now Hegseth is doing the same.

Trump: It didn't happen and if it did it was Hegseth.

Hegseth: I didn't order it and how dare you attack our great warriors who must have been the ones who did.

Looks like it's It's throwing subordinates under the bus all the way down.

Alternately, does this indicate Sec. Hegseth's career will go the way of Adm. Bradley's? Has he made himself too much of a target and therefore no longer a useful pawn for Trump, Miller, Rubio, whoever else is giving him orders?

And civilian commander Hegseth was a commissioned officer trained on UCMJ and LOAC, so he can't claim any defense that he didn't know it's illegal to give such orders. (And our govt have previously called out other govts that routinely give those orders, like Russia's, and rightly so.)

Bradley is obviously guilty of giving the order to fire to whatever junior officer pushed the button, but if Hegseth claims he "only" gave the order to "kill everyone" rather'n specify "If you don't get them all on the first run, go around for another", that's still a "no quarter" order, & illegal.
