You absolutely need a stop? The KU defense will not get it. Need a score or to take advantage of one of the rare times the defense doesn’t suck? The KU offense will not get the job done. A true mediocre team to its core.

It’s less about KU (we’ve got fanbases lined up for this Self-Roy-LB golden era to end and have had success any school outside of 1-2 would KILL for), I truly want this for all of sports rootingdom. We all deserve Duke men’s basketball getting their dorkass teeth kicked in for like 5 years straight

That we as a collective college basketball fandom didn’t get the giant fall off and comeuppance that we all earned and hoped for Duke once K retired all because Nike has just decided to keep the spigot flowing with their quasinepo coach in waiting being Not Terrible is fitting for These Times.

to clarify, I am *not* mad

at all

There’s also the not insignificant subset (not exclusive to KU fans) that go the other way, “now that they are basically employees, they owe ME playing every day and hard”, etc.

While it’s not optimal, I think Self is probably secretly “happy” this has happened because he can figure out all the other new faces and where they fit with DP is back. I’d rather them figure this out now than for the first time in like February-March.

But, in hindsight, it all checks out since not playing tonight in this high a profile game should convince even the densest moron that it’s real and that like you said/know, hamstrings are annoying and take time. He was sick->dehydrated->cramping->pulled a hammy.

Decidedly not Pete here but increasingly Online KU fans have gotten *terrible* and not only Don’t Know Ball, are spoiled.

The initial skepticism came from him sitting out because of cramping, then illness, then hammy. Different reasons every time led to “is this load management from his handlers”
