The rationing of ingredients during the 1940s forced Belle to start a V-Garden. With help from her son, she soon realised it was the secret to being able to make carrot cake more often than not.

A friend reminded me of how freeing and beautiful some landscapes are, and it made me want to paint again.
Maybe one day I'll get to visit places like that again, it's been a long time. The world isn't small, and I can breathe in these wonderful places :)

Waiteside Castle was soon demoted from a passing point to a through-station. The old loop was turned into storage sidings.
