Writing about AI recently it occurred to me that our big problem right now is that no one is looking for answers anymore. We're only looking for confirmation. We've stopped seeking the truth and are only interested in finding "proof" to justify the things we believe that aren't backed up by reality.

Bluesky Safety definitely thought Carol was asking for a live hand grenade.
