Great result today at Hill Dickinson, and a rare 3pm kickoff!! The best home win we have had to date.
A ride on the ferry, a goal from Barry and a clean sheet!!
This season is really starting to get interesting.....

Released on this day in 1973, The Wicker Man.

This original British Lion 1sheet is one of my favourite posters from my collection, and one from the British set of Lobby Cards (phone pic doesn't do it justice). Determined next year to see the locations, although I said this last December....

49 years ago today, the Bill Grundy show and the infamous interview with the Sex Pistols. I need to re watch the Great RockNRoll Swindle as ive not seen it for many years, and the Filth and the Fury by Julien Temple, which is better IMO ...

Just seen Christy, about boxer Christy Martin, boxing not being a sport I follow I had never heard of her, having seen this film, which I read is close to be accurate, its a story more should know about. The abuse she suffered makes it a hard watch at times but the story needs to be known.

Andy Gray, happy 70th birthday, my favorite player when I first went to watch Everton, the catalyst in my opinion for the success back then.

Everton V Newcastle, a horrible (for many reasons) wet one, hopefully we see a positive bounce back tomorrow night and onto the return of Sean Dyche on Saturday.... only 12 home league games left this season

Some images I took of a dramatic scene in Leasowe Bay earlier in the week. Brilliant work as always from the rescue teams of Crosby, Hoylake and New Brighton along with the HM Coastguard Rescue Helicopter, helping out three people who had earlier got into difficulty in the water.

Just been to see Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, its fantastic!! Possibly the best in the trilogy for me. Josh O'Connor is great and Josh Brolin has always been one of my favourite actors, its not on Netflix until the 12th but currently on the cinemas, go and see it!!!

From the archive, four years ago tonight at Edge Hill University, comedian Russell Kane at the The Arts Centre EHU. This was great!
A few months earlier the country had come out of the final lockdown and going to shows like this again was fantastic

From the archive, two years ago today. CORRUPT protest, prior to a early Saturday kick off against Manchester United.
Football is bent, certain clubs get away with things, not just on finances, Gary O'Neil was right when he said referees have a subconscious bias in favour of the “big guy”

On This Day 25 years ago, this was a good one, coming from behind to beat Chelsea 2 1, with Kevin Campbell getting the winner after Cadamarteri equalised. 7 days earlier we had beaten Arsenal 2 0, Danny C and Kev Campbell again. It was a good week for Walter Smiths Everton

Good to see Roberto in the studio tonight, and wearing brown shoes!! Last time I went to Old Trafford he was our manager, it was an incredible night!!
Really hope Moyes concentrates on us this evening, rather then worry about united, desperate for another win here
