Hiking. Biking. Travel. Food. Beer. KCMO. Helper of homeless pets. Sometimes politics. Sometimes Mizzou & KC sports. It’s a free for all.
The problem is a lot of people would like more train travel, but it’s not a lead issue like guns, abortion or saving democracy

Rail travel’s best use (imho) is on regional routes. Kansas City to Minneapolis, Omaha, St Louis Tulsa. Not longer routes like to Phoenix or LA

More $$. More time. And like one option per day vs 10 for air travel. I’d love to take the train. But it’s inefficient. If only those with political authority would subsidize it like they have for air and highway travel

No sympathies for Patel. But this is very bad. Bailey has all the extreme views combined with some level of competence.

Sounds like a really good way to funnel a lot of taxpayer money to paramilitary groups like the Proud Boys

Imagine making your wedding picture about you and your gun and not you and your wife

I'm not sure that's true anymore, just see how easily he easily he jumped on the 50 year mortgage idea.

Let's be real. It seems as if the secret here is to just heap praise on Trump, tell him he's great, smart and has great poll numbers, and he'll like you. I really believe it's as easy as that -- and part of how he gets rolled by world leaders like Putin and MBS

I don't mean this as a slight to Mamdani at all. He's smart and charismatic and has good ideas. But if Trump will do this kind of 180 after a meeting with Mamdani, you have to wonder how much he gets worked by world leaders like Putin.

Hard to believe that we are in a scenario where anyone would think that being anti-human-trafficking-pedophiles would be a potentially partisan issue.

He apparently doesn't realize that those students were paying to be there -- so it's essentially lost revenue. Well done donnie

Yes and obviously getting rid of parking mandates that require businesses to have their own parking that is only used 35% of the time. Empty lots people can't use during evenings and weekends in busy areas are really frustrating for people.
November 18, 2025 at 5:33 PM
I really like the shared parking set up. We need a lot less single-use parking in our city

He's been on record for opposing transparency for 6 months now....one vote isn't going to change that.
November 18, 2025 at 4:25 PM
I hope you're right on the cleansing part of that...

And also, no single form of transportation is designed for every single person. That would be impossible. This is why designing streets for various transportation types is important.

I'm starting to think the media's biggest miss was stopping airing Trump's speeches. They quit airing them because of the lying, but I think people need to see and hear the reality of who is at the helm of this national at the moment

That’s the way the scheduling is supposed to work - allow bad teams to play weak schedules to give them an opportunity to get better and good teams play tough schedules

Regardless of what your opinion was of the economy they inherited; Making it better and not worse would have been good

Seems like if you can look north from anywhere you can see them - the less light noise the better
