As @cleanenergycanada.org documents, Europeans have access to lower cost EVs. The Federal govt of Canada should enable access.

What really strikes me about these cars is their modest size! So much safer for pedestrians, etc.

this is such an immensely satisfying, morally clear read. The screenshot especially, but all of it. Kudos to Adam Tooze.

LinkedIn's suggested replies are just the stupidest shlock on earth... why are they offered... imagine posting these replies to someone saying their kid is being redeployed to risk their lives fighting more raging wildfires...

Brilliant article!

Really makes you question the sagacity of propping up the anaerobic digestion practices through massive "low carbon fuel credits", as opposed to regulating/funding dairies/feedlots to achieve 80%+ emissions reductions.

bullshit accounting, literally...

I find the idea that "we just need to consume less" seriously bizarre.

Who is "we"? I agree, I do. I'd be happier if I quelled this urge to accumulate things (books & outdoor gear in my case...)

But most people deserve better & more affordable food, shelter, neighbourhoods & energy access.

I cant recommend this book enough!!! So good.

Planting street trees& boulevard gardens and murals are among the very best things we can do to make our cities better

I've got your book on the shelf - looking forward to reading.
I'll be interested to see the comparisons of yields between "agroecology" vs. "conventional" (both terms that surely encompass a LOT of different practices). I hope everyone involved has an open mind about tech to max yields & min harms
