It may indeed be worthwhile to lower the "acceptable bar of quality" or even the amount of time you spend on each artwork. I started doing my "watercolour-esque sketch" style for that very reason.

I've updated GameMaker, so the project will break if converted to the new version of the development tool -- so it will remain in the public release. It's something I'll just need to plan around better next time.

I don't know why the new code editor is colour-coding assets as grey unset variables when the previous code editor clearly realized they were not, in fact, unset variables.
