...I had total freedom in terms of palette was stranded sailors. I wanted it to be a little oasis of warm tones and colour atop the mountain. Plus stained glass because I love it. I really hope that answers your question. pt end

Though for deaths door a lot of the palette was already done by Frits the other concept artist (check out his work!). I joined later in the project, so I needed to keep it in line with the work already done, as it all had to feel like the same world/area. I think the one area... pt2

Hi!! Oh good question, and unfortunately, I don’t have “x is my process”. Sometimes I go with what’s on the ref I’ve gathered, others I’m just going with what I feel works for the piece and others trying to think about who’s using the space and what colours they would have used/like. pt1

Oh 200% i still find myself doing this. I look at something and think "oh i should be doing that" but it always ends up with me taking forever over a piece and not liking the result.
I'm just trying to be kinder to myself when I inevitably do it again because sometimes i learn something useful...
