a lot of games use ai generated content in them and get put on steam with no disclosure, despite that being against their terms of service, and nothing is being done to stop them

it's very blatant and has happened so much this year, with only smaller titles getting a lot of flack like the alters

imagine if the team lead behind clair obscur dropped the bombshell while accepting the game of the year award this year. so much damage to the industry lmao

i gotta be real with you guys. a lot of games you liked this year probably used gen ai. the media just doesnt care enougj to circulate the evidence, and there's bound to be tons of undetectable instances (ie. every texture that isn't garbled text)

enough time to beat demon's souls and possibly get partway through bloodborne

there's a really overt lack of interest in the comic when searching it online which SUCKS because it seems like such an excellent microcosm of late 2000s gaming stuff

searching just leads to cursory posts about the meme and occasional singular comics but i can't find a good way to read them all...
