I'm pretty sure that Clacktronics did not have this in mind for their nice beginners DIY subtractive synth, but I'm even more excited for the possibilities of adding this into my setup now.
(To be clear: no external effects here. This is just abusing half of Build Your Own Modular).

Can confirm: this isn't just some garden-variety self-oscillation (at least in my experience thereof). Here's just a saw wave into the low-pass filter when I turn up the resonance.

I finally have had some time to get back to Build Your Own Modular and, just like that, with less than an hour of effort, I have a mixer Eurorack module.
I love this book/kit. Can't wait to finish it in a few years.

Oh also, and to be clear this is pure hearsay, I've read that although they're superficially similar, the build quality on Rega turntables is miles ahead of Pro-Ject. Good luck with the decision in any case!
