Also the Castle of Lyr is such a great misdirect. I assumed I was gonna read a story where the hero was shrunk to the size of a mouse. Was quite incorrect.

Someone who isn’t a creep should rewrite these books because there are fun ideas, but they’re drowning in a sea of misogyny and troubling sexualization.
