if you're one person making a comic by yourself, don't treat yourself like you should function on the same level as comics that have multiple people working on them. your backgrounds can be squiggles and colors.
allow yourself room to be abstract with details and give yourself some grace

If a background doesn't add anything you couldn't tell the story without, you might not need one. several jobs for one person!

Forgot to update as I’m currently sick but we got enough! Electricity/heat should be back on by Monday at noon! Thanks so much for the help! We still need $700 to pay off the rest of the over due electric bill so commissions are still open I also need $115 for the internet bill
