unforeseen consequence of keeping vaseline in the acorn: accidentally conditioning the wood. it's visibly darker now. i like that
photo from three months ago: a wooden acorn pendant on my hand. It has a dark brown cap and a medium brown nut. The same acorn pendant now. The wood is shiny and noticeably darker brown.

Some pictures from yesterday

I cut out a bunch of words and stashed them in my sewing kit at some point in my 20s. finally made something with them today and, by god, if it isn't the most Anna In Her 20s thing i ever did read
