As long as there’s no major dissonance between the one-off kaiju and the main kaiju cast of course lol

In designing the one-off kaiju, I need to consider how their nations used them: commercial or military. Their designs should add to the worldbuilding. For example, I put more effort into the main kaijus' designs to be expressive. The human cast befriends them, so they must be 'relatable' somehow

Some nations, namely Oron and Nefell (the nations Johrok and Launi belonged to respectively) pivoted to integrating their kaiju for commercial use.

Johrok was a staunch advocate that kaiju could live peacefully with the Niri and assist in large-scale projects. Kaiju could bring prosperity.

Kaiju were seen as one step below using nuclear weapons. They gave allowed 5 Niri nations to be aggressive with territorial disputes, all while not "poisoning the land" with radiation.

Niri society frowned upon nuclear weapons, but all 5 nations still kept them as the ultimate deterrents.

Kaiju on Nyreen were rare due to their expensive production and upkeep costs. (Still planning this out, but I want to say there was never more than 40 kaiju alive at the same time in Nyreen's history.)

It’s been a helpful thru-line, that each battle between these massive kaiju must leave a permanent mark. How will the change in weather affect operations? The seismic damage?

As big as the scale is for my main kaiju, I still aim to keep things as grounded in reality as possible
