UCP Kid: What?! You expect ME to fill it up?!

Parent: Okay, I’ll try to do it after my 12-hour shift.

UCP Kid: Then who’s going to cook dinner?!!

I chipped a molar on my morning granola, so I have to go to the dentist. 🦷⛏️

It would make me feel better if you checked out my books. They're perfect for this stressful time of year because they're short and exciting and have families bickering maybe even harder than yours.

Love this!
An increasing number of bookstores in Japan are leasing out their shelves to book lovers to allow them to sell the works they want to recommend, fostering communities of such “shelf owners.” 👉 ebx.sh/CY9y2V

How 2025 is going.

Just tried leaving a positive review for an employee.
It took 40 minutes and 2 verification codes. Had to change my password, which was another living hell.
I’m now drinking a whiskey neat to calm my nerves.
It’s only 1:00pm.

It was worth it to be kind.😁

Excellent 🧵
1/ Hoekstra’s statements are mind boggling and supported by Americans.

Hoekstra: Canadians shouldn’t be upset about becoming the 51st state - it’s a compliment.

Canadians: No country on 🌎 sees a foreign country seizing their country as a compliment.

It’s to take our natural resources.
US Ambassador to Canada: But let me tell you, I go around the country and people will say, “Pete, you just don’t understand why we’re so mad about the 51st state.” And it’s kind of like, “Yeah, you’re right. I don’t.

Bingo.
The death of two national guardsmen is a horrific tragedy.

It is also an orchestrated tragedy by a president hellbent on creating a tinder box environment across the country.

This just keeps getting better and better.
How sad.
Trump’s size obsession has put him at odds with the architect, who reportedly argues the 90,000 sq. ft. ballroom would overshadow the 55,000 sq. ft. White House, violating basic architectural principles.

It's, ultimately, another illustration of the crumbling checks and balances. trib.al/tAhurYp

Did not know this.
On November 26, 1864, Oxford mathematician Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) sent a handwritten manuscript called “Alice’s Adventures Under Ground” to 12-year-old Alice Liddell as a Christmas present. Alice inspired the story that became “Alice in Wonderland.”

I first heard the dog running away phrase, or something like it, in I Was A Teenage Slasher by Stephen Graham Jones. It made me laugh. Relatable.

Later, that book made me cry.

Highly recommend it.
