If the deal goes through, the Canada–Alberta energy agreement would shift climate policy toward charging major industrial polluters through a specialized carbon-pricing system instead of using a general fuel tax that raises costs for households.

It would be better for the UCP government in Alberta to call an election than for Premier Smith to go ahead with this idea that they are “reviewing” the recall act to see if changes are needed.

There is a Bill C-12 currently being discussed in Canada’s 🇨🇦 Parliament, & it deserves more attention than it is getting.

The bill seeks to give the govt broad power to cancel or suspend immigration documents, including PR cards, based on a vague idea of “public interest.”

"The premier has said she’s talking to caucus members and other officials about making changes to the Recall Act."

What a baby, as soon as this is turned against her and her party, she seeks to change it. Your party wanted this system, now you have to face the consequences.

Trump’s government is weaponizing hunger by holding SNAP funding hostage to end the shutdown. Like that guy said, a first world country with third world problems.

Cuomo said he was a Democrat. He ran in the primaries against Mamdani and lost.

He then left the party and became an Independent, with Trump giving him an endorsement on election day.

Anyways, that’s today’s update on being an ‘upstanding’ democrat these days in America.

When you get to know people beyond the screen, you’ll walk away with such and more nuanced understanding of who they are and what they believe.

And that leads to much deeper empathy and ultimately, Grace.
