Wanting to help people, having technical know-how/capacity to research is usually a really nice thing. I love it. I love fixing shit and resolving what stress i can with modern electronics for friends for free

A simple thing like "i want easier access to my music instead of shuffling cds in and out of my 1998 bose waveradio" is a good idea and agreeable
There's also so many different ways to get there and instead of committing to one they just want magic + your eternal blame forever
