Will there be wrapping paper again? (I just resubbed regardless of the answer)

I'd actually wager a lot of money that this game occurred in 2007 the week Portal came out, because I have a very clear recollection of pulling an all nighter beating it, going to sleep and waking up like 15 minutes before the Bears game, putting it on and... all that happening.

I appreciate the reply but very difficult to "like" this particular response.

Well, the other other one.

Without looking, did you guys nonetheless win this game with like 200 rushing yards from AP? Because as a Bears fan this feels like how those things generally went.

I dunno, as a Bears fan I think Caleb didn't have a very good game (but probably not quite as bad the box score would suggest, between drops, pressures, and throwaways), but he's better than last season and happy to have them win instead of lose.

At least for Washington you can imagine them getting better simply by being healthier next year. Miami... woof.

What’s the conversation? How is there any response to this other than “that seems right”?

PFF initially charted six, but I believe changed it to five - their definition includes not having a defender in a certain radius who could affect the catch, so when they reviewed the tape they probably noticed that on one.

He took a shot to the chin and his helmet came off on a sack (that got wiped out for a roughing penalty) in the first half and was never evaluated for a concussion, but his passing numbers plummeted after that, so I think he should have been evaluated long before.

I’m not sure that Spanberger’s likely success is separable from the general environment coupled with one of the worst candidates the Rs could possibly have run.

Ok, the Assyrian archprelate who’s also from Chicago trolling him with a Cubs jersey is hilarious though.

Yeah, it’s actually pretty obvious on that diagram. If that hadn’t been overturned it would have raised questions about something, anyway.

They don’t ask how, they ask how many.

No. It’s Monster Squad erasure.

As a Cubs fan, all I can say is…

I think putting Madison, Wisconsin and Rockford, Illinois in a separate region from Chicago and Milwaukee is a miss.

It’s possible Herbert Hoover was aware of Doctor Who.

One of these guys could easily have been the steak dinner… boom! guy.

I mean, Williams has one close to that low and one in the high 60s. Hurts’ are both noticeably higher than 40. And then Russ has one in the 30s and one in single digits
September 22, 2025 at 9:04 PM
Funnily enough, 2 of those 3 QBs don’t have a QBR as low as 40.8 in either of their non-Cowboys games. Russ is doing a lot of work there.

More 4,000 yard passers than any other team.

Fewer 4,000 seasons than any other team.

The duality of man.

I’ve lived in Maryland before though, and they have mastered “putting garbage in cans instead of piles on the curb.”
