I'm a 1/3 of the way through, which is a lot considering it's size, and so far it's really good. Sorrow's games have already taken a toll on my emotions ... there's a lot more heart to this than I expected.

Only by doing the work myself can I experience accomplishment.

No matter what, the story remains art. It could become a product, or "content" but it will always be art, made 100% by me. Even if I never make a single dime selling my art, it will always be made by me.

It IS the work. Do the work, experience accomplishment.

I do not want my fiction writing experience to be easier. I WANT to write myself into a corner, I WANT to bang my head against the desk to figure a character out, I WANT my story to stall, or get "blocked", I WANT my plot to be uneven.
