I'll probably get suckered back into playing Richmond in March but this is how I feel about standard generally. You either play the expensive wrong cards that won't get banned or the expensive good cards that are definitely getting banned in 3 months.

It should be illegal to present your rewards like this when 2 wins gets you 250 gems (12.5% of entry fee) and 3 wins gets you 1000 (50% of entry fee).

After an infinite string of 3-2s added town greeter and immediately trophied? Is greeter better than spider? Haven't played enough to tell but it was extremely good this league. Fatespinner did not impact the games at all and I boarded it out a lot but in theory I like extra spidermen.

Shoutout to the 4c control gamers in the standard leagues keeping the trade binder dream alive with what can only be described as some of the 5 drops of all time. My personal favorite is this guy.

Trophied with this. You know it's serious because there are two (2)s. Wanted to try and instant speed mill thing to try and fight through hate and tried Smuggler's Surprise over Cache Grab cause the deck doesn't have any threes already and modality is good. Would run at least one more green source.

Reanimator 🏆 let's go!!! Still fiddling around with the SB but I think the red mana gives you pretty substantial. Terror because it's castable in long games + OTKs through interaction like Floodmaw and Torch because 1 mana spells are busted and exiling Vivi is excellent. FOMO also wrecks with Ardyn.

One day the magic fire will go out for good, but it ain't today. Back to back trophy. Beat 3x Vivi, UW Control and GW landfall. Green overlord was better than the summon, Smuggler's Suprise was good, unsure if spaceship is better.
Also I didn't even realize until this league: enchanties!

Fire update: lost playing for the trophy to @phblthp.bsky.social on the mirror and then rallied back another 5 in a row tonight with this. It plays much better than it looks. Beat up on red a bunch despite cutting all the MD interaction so feeling good about that choice. Lumra might suck.
