Very unlikely to happen though. It will probably be like the almond industry where the necessary water rights were given away as part of the contract.

This is compounded by the fact that assessments are now typically completed sight-unseen over the phone rather than by a home visit. This seems to be a very dubious communication method for potential care recipients who are likely to suffer from at least some degree of hearing loss.

We never really got rid of them entirely. The streets where I live are still littered with ugly abandoned multi-pair cable tails poking out of the ground. Must represent a fortune in scrap copper being unused. Ditto for that obsolete Optus overhead cabling system that got foisted upon us.

Congrats Brenda. But please be ready for the next long wait for actual funding allocation. I was quite chuffed to eventually have level 2 funds allocated after *only* 10 months, but then disappointed to discover that it was only an interim 60% with an indeterminate wait for the remaining 40%!
