Sadder still the best way to get your Discord account back is if it is linked to an account that was not compromised, OR if you bought nitro or something with it, because that's possibly lost revenue and they can't have lost Revenue!!!!!! Think of the money not the victim... bulshit.

No way for a victim to prevent that after the fact. no way of knowing where the information is being sent, what server it's being sent to, but Discord would know Discord would know what server and what account created that server where.

That's icing on the cake what bothers me is that some of the information the hackers are gaining whether from the domain itself or from the malware code uses web hooks to send the information to a private Discord server the hacker has. No VPN needed, just masking their IP by webhook use.

I blame Discord not purely because of the fact that this Ransom phishing attack could easily recognize that accounts are spreading and sharing the same links, right after the account was logged out of all of the original devices & logged in thousands of miles away, after they were DMed the same msg

I mean I have to give them some slack... they're so busy w/ AI & pattern recognition LLMs they can't recognize simple patterns of victims stating they were hacked by an account from the same phone number & same Gmail account, who is ransoming/blackmailing them

I would think if MULTIPLE people send a report that a user with a SPECIFIC Gmail account hacked them and hundreds of people State this you would actually look into it and realize "hey this email address hacked multiple people around the world maybe we should stop that user"

The hackers have deleted YouTube & other accounts some of the victims are content creators trying their best & they just lose their livelihood. Google and Discord don't even give them the time of day at best! EVEN WHEN there's mounting evidence & CORRELATING evidence from multiple victims!

This hacker group or number of hackers has been going on for a few years, some victims are helped, but not ALL and a lot of this could be resolved EASILY.

Some victims have been extorted have lost money from the ransom,& have been blackmailed! It is ridiculous! Just for trusting a DM to try a game.

At some point I'm going to beg folks to share this not to spread awareness but to call out YouTube/Google & Discord for not helping victims.

Some victims have been contacted via telephone, by the hacker so they know the cell phone and have the hackers' email address, but Google & Discord DO NOTHING

The channel has been renamed to Ahmo studios, the original unlisted video is gone more than likely a new one is up and or they created a new YouTube account but I don't know so there might be a whole new game that is being stolen from!

The only logical conclusion is to do the reverse and replace Wario audio with Aki Audio.

Additional note the fake game Dire Talon is hot again as well. They're using the template Dave used for the past year still but they may update it.

They also updated the website changed the description and changed the specific link to the malware.

On the website itself it even suggests to check the file with tools, I can't know for certain but I imagine they did something to mask the malware so it can get past detection tools. BE CAUTIOUS!!!

If your Discord was hacked recently from downloading a game someone messaged you to try please look to see if any of the ones listed on the Reddit post are what you downloaded!

Most of the info may not be as helpful after the fact, but I added tips to prevent the Hackers from gaining more access!
