I quite liked it! Act 2 of the play is very weird so it was always gonna be an uphill battle to get it to work as a solo movie but I think it works more than it doesnt. Also Elphie would be much more empathetic and nurturing so I vote for her.

Haven't watched it in a while but I do remember really loving it. I really should do a rewatch, followed by a rewatch of the show
