Oddly enough it didn’t work for him playing Blink earlier either. I couldn’t figure how he pulled all the big cards out but just ignored that

He thought I was locked in here with him.

Well this is interesting it's not a buff card perse but I'm not sure there isn't a buff card that doesn't want to be set to 8. In a Surfer deck say the Sera/GwenPool/Galacta variety he lowballs as a 4/7 and high rolls as a 4/22? Even a random Chavez or Forge hit is good value.

Sword Master back to 3/7 - Hela slowly reforms
Helicarrier 6/12 - sure!
Dormammu 7/13 - give it this month but might need more

NEW TOY!
I'm not sure this entirely works but it does allow you to sneak in a Carnage AND Morgan on t5 where as before you had to have all your Destroys done for her to come out on t4 or t5. Or possibly just a Blade and Morgan on t4 if the card is right?
Worth a revisit.

For those at the top of the ladder - the Lockjaw version of the deck has been a pain and rather prevalent.
This kills Storm/War Machine Legion but also sort of kills the War Machine decks in general as t5 can't include a big ol' Ebony Maw with a played anywhere Cull/Xbones

Human Torch a 3/2.
With a point off of Sparky and now a point off of Torch you are cutting a bunch power off the craziest Torch plays
Let's say you Iron Fist, Sparky, Dr. Strange, Hellion, Heimdall
What was 144 is now...96
Huh still high

What is needed is a 2-Cost On-Reveal card that does this. Oh! What's this?

4 Cost skill - revive your biggest destroyed card here with double the power
There are wacky things you can do with this card - with the whole Firehair/AirWalker/Elixir decks or Nirmrod stuff that if you hit it just right can get stupid big. If that was it it'd be normal

WelcomeChamber!
2/3 Activate +2 for every 5+ Cost card in your hand (or you have at that location for some reason)
Ramp card in theory that gets pretty big with 3+ cards in their spots but there's also a handful of good 5s that may prompt another direction

Angel? Air Walker? Bucky? They all pull cards and put them in a certain place - away from WX where they could be hit again... but by who and why? Venom. To thin the deck for...?

A deck trying to get multiple cheap Deaths? Maybe a weird Firehair getting multiple 1-Cost procs?

Of course it COULD be but I bet the always there Wolverine giving power to Venom/Knull works better

Let's say Carnage kills 2, Killmonger / Deathlok kill 2, Venom kills 3 - that's 7 and that's a 2/14 which is very good but not like crazy.
He's not a build around - he's a piece

2/2 When you destroy your 1st-3rd cards, +1 Power each time. 4th-6th +2 power, 7th-9th +3, etc. etc.
Will Weapon X rage against the dying of the light & into the meta, or will he be X'd out?

Did he technically work like we thought? Yes. FWIW he will gain power THEN try to move so if you have stuffed the other locations he just gains +2.
Did he strategically work like we thought? Yeah, pretty much Move and Sauron
