It's annoying enough just getting them formatted in LibreOffice Writer. Forget whatever tools self-publishers use.

I feel you. Just got this car a few months ago; had to replace the brake pads already, and found out the oil pan's drain plug was overtightened and cannot be removed. Replaced the entire oil pan, and now I have a check engine light on because of "rich fuel." Ugh.

I've already started hurling verses at these so-called "Christians" about treating foreigners fairly and feeding the poor. They completely ignore me.

I wasn't going to block everything, but then I saw that almost every single account is posting pure, concentrated propaganda, and now I'm blocking everything. Even the Department of Education is like "hi we're unnecessary" which tells me it's not actually THEM posting.

Mmm. you're not missing much. I've only played two AC games and while I really enjoyed ACNL, the randomness of villagers leaving and appearing drove me nuts. ACNH feels shallow and incorporates survival mechanics in a non-survival game. Screw that.

Are movie rights often discussed in the contract for publishing? I always thought I would decline any movies being made of my stories because I've seen how well THOSE turn out.

I often think about how novels like Black Beauty and A Christmas Carol actually changed society. Today we're so swarmed with books that many go under the radar--if anyone even reads at all. Almost none of my online friends read.
