Rust, Rusty Bikes, and making everything safer.

Berkeley, CA.
Yeah. Have people noticed how empty sidewalks are, and the street in front of my home. No one is driving on it at all right now now! Maybe we should get rid of it.

Exactly.

“E-bikes are too fast, we should speed limit them to 15mph”

“What about cars?”

“You have no right to trample my god given right to drive as fast as I want, I might be escaping a gang, or war, maybe wolves or 30-50 feral hogs.”

That merchant association doesn’t even realize how much they’d benefit from that. It’s really shortsighted, car brain decision.

My favorite is that people are already posting nonsense, “I’ve never seen a cyclist stop at a stop sign!”

What does that even have to do with the question asked? I wish we could just have a place to have fact based intelligent conversations. Maybe I just need to block and mute more people.

It’s funny. In person the City and the GGB were so clear on my bike, but you need to zoom in on that photo.

My kids went shopping with my wife the other day. Son came home with a bunch of dark clothing, but his shoes. He was so proud to show me these shoes, “we were all agreed that you were going to love how reflective these are!”

Me: “Those are awesome! Oh, Jordan’s… wait, how much were they?”

As president, a "tough on crime" Democrat, was *more dangerous* to Black men, than a pro-fascist, authoritarian, GOP president. Because the harm was concentrated on us.

The bar is on the floor, and somehow centrist Dems still manage to get under it.

Impressively bad performance.

The US government has been doing the work of the car companies since 1956 with the creation of the Highway Trust Fund, wielded against cities and their people across the country ever since.

I know this is true, you know this is true, soon everyone will know this is true.

Yes, even Jane Jacobs was writing about traffic evaporation back in 1959.
