Also your impaired friends who live with family. Family can be well-meaning, but sometimes they will just never understand the problems you're going through.

I wish I lived with any of my partners or best friends...

Try to find a way to manage my disability without needing to worry each week where the money is coming from.

If I no financial worry, my overall health would improve.
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?

Deadrocks, the invincible enemies in Zelda: A Link to the Past, can be killed. When they are mobile, using the Quake medallion converts them into slimes that can be easily dispatched. So the next time you're getting bodied by them in a randomizer, they live in fear of the Quake medallion!
i was going through my X archives and found this by @superpodsaga.com, which I qrt'd at some point years ago

so, let me bring the question back: what is the most useless piece of video game knowledge you know?

Remember: don't eat the mid tier fast food chicken, don't play the wizard game, don't shop at the hobby store run by the bad guys from Indiana Jones, and don't donate to the bigot bucket.
I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

The middle ground is ‘I don’t want to contribute my money to anything AI generated.’

The extreme ground is ‘All AI generated technologies should be forced to pay royalties to those whose work they’ve stolen from.’
"Surely there's a middle ground here?" The CEO of Helldivers 2 studio Arrowhead says people "jump to extreme takes" when debating generative AI, and that there needs to be more nuance in the discussion.

Fibromyalgia has overridden my life since 2003, with no-one believing me until my eventual diagnosis 18 years later in 2021, when the pain became too much to ignore.

I really hope that this research is sound, and helps the many who like me want to return to life without constant pain.
Medical Republic: 'Fibromyalgia finally gets a genetic fingerprint'

'Additionally, certain risk loci overlapped with long covid (BPTF) and ME/CFS (OLFM4, RABGAP1L/GPR52), two poorly characterised disorders, albeit with different lead variants.'

HOLY SHIT. They found the genes for fibromyalgia - and it's *not* autoimmune, it's the central nervous system. It's very cool to see some progress made on the thing that's ruined my life since late teenage years!

I've had a sore throat since Friday night. It got worse by Sunday, and has started to fade, but now I also have headaches especially in my right ear.

Doing all the usual self-care things as well as taking my normal meds, but I hate this fatigue.

I need cuddles and less stress over irl stuff 😵‍💫
