I appreciate that it is difficult for senior political figures to acknowledge that the Israeli military routinely murders civilians for sport, but that is how it is.

When we extended our tiny bathroom by getting rid of the box room behind one of our friends was aghast that “you’ve taken value off the house!”

Me: it’s my home we want to enjoy living in not an asset I want to appreciate - also controversial apparently
