@rawdawgcomics.bsky.social I wanted to ask if you would be willing to release both the font you use and text-less versions of your comics for bone hurting and translation purposes

I migrated the domain on my selfhosted pds to free up the root domain! It was way way way harder than it should have been (mostly thanks to a lack of docs) but i figured it out, mostly thanks to fei on the pdsadmin discord.

the linux feed is now full of people complaining about linux envangalists (who are easy to block or filter out), so that's great.

And holy shit, so many of these people react so aggressively to people suggesting it when they o
could just ignore it, also...

"You're overreacting to windows 11. I've been running it for months and I don't run into any of these problems. Windows 11 is fine.

Also I tried Linux and I ran into a particular problem and this is a universal example of why Linux will never be ready for the desktop."

On new Proton Experimental, most mods can now just be extracted/copied next to the game .exe, without requiring any extra steps like setting WINEDLLOVERRIDES. This change will also be in future stable Proton releases.

So apparently #InfinityNikki does a fun new way to block #Linux players! Supposedly if it runs in #wine or #Proton it CHECKS THE EXACT CPU MODEL

If it isn't the Steam Deck CPU, it never launches!

COOL, THANKS FOR THAT!

Does anybody know of a way to make firefox reset it's settings to the default (+settings defined in policies.json) or have settings be immutable *without* kiosk mode?

This is on an ubuntu server install with cage if that matters.

Please i am at my wit's end

IMO atomic distributions are the future of the Linux desktops, tools like rmp-ostree allow for as much control as traditional distros, whith cleaner updates, less risk of breakage and much better security, with flatpak and desktop portals being (mostly) forced on third party programs.
