this would've been me if the past few characters i were into didn't have some weird shit happen w/ them or the people surrounding them to the point i get uncomfortable w/ the idea of drawing them ever again

yeah you raise a good point actually this was bound to happen

in hindsight this was probably just me being really picky about newer levels and not really being able to find something i like out of them

and making certain effects much easier to recreate in the editor

it was interesting to see the progression of level styles between updates honestly but now i'm just bored and don't follow newer levels anymore because it's probably just one of the three things i mentioned

"look at my well animated level with its own cool style and bossfight"
seen that already too unfortunately

people have gotten so good at the editor during the timespan of 2.1-2.2 that the new features have barely made a dent in how people make levels aside from adding platformer-

or make game engines based on the level editor's flexible system! but eventually it reaches the point it's just another one to add to the growing pile

...and a growing number of cases of AI psychosis and other incidents, such as one case where a man died on the way to meeting an AI bot that didn't even exist in real life. it's not fun to watch.

...as it stands currently i cannot trust the majority to use it responsibly and in a non-damaging manner to both others and themselves. there are far too many examples of people using AI for creative work and pushing it as a replacement to such (cough, illustration work)...

do i think it could potentially be helpful for certain tasks such as complex maths and assistance in certain environments? yes. do i also think that all these AI scam artists and being completely dependent on AI for everything sucks? also yes.

i'm not completely against the existence of AI, but...
