Blake’s ‘The Skinning of the Aboma Snake’ (for Gabriel John Stedman’s ‘Narrative of a Five Years’ Expedition Against the Revolted Negroes of Surinam’) in Hew Locke’s terrific exhibition ‘what have we here?’ at the British Museum. It finishes on Sunday, so if there are still tickets get yourself one!

This will follow the Blake Society AGM, but anyone is welcome to join the event (you don't need to be a member of The Blake Society!) We'll be using images from the newly-published facsimile of The Rossetti Manuscript published by SP Books

The AGM will last about half an hour and be followed by a discussion of the Notebook, or The Rossetti Manuscript, inspired by its recent publication in facsimile by SP Books. The discussion will be led by Blake Soc trustees and illustrators @hobslantern.bsky.social and @johnnyriordan.bsky.social
