The kind of nerd that teaches themselves computational geometry for fun. Into ttrpgs, gaming, sci-fi and fantasy, crafty stuff, and so, so many ADHD "enhanced" hobbies. He/him, they/them is fine too.
The black cauldron stuck with me but seems less well known.

Warriors of virtue maybe?

(shamelessly came in thru discover cat cousin) Don't know what you're talking about...

Here's an image showing LED binning that demonstrates the idea. Basically, LED manufacturers measure what color rectangle each LED falls within and sort them that way, then sell each bin together to meet tolerances.

I need to go shopping, but I did other productive things today so I put it off, the consequence of which is I'm eating like a broke college student for dinner.

Instant ramen with cocktail wieners and pickled jalapeno.

Honestly not bad.

I am a very serious game designer and my process is very serious. No questions, thank you.

Side note because it happened to me: check if your "require alt text before posting" setting is still set, apparently something caused it to reset for a lot of people.

I was on a roll yesterday.
I started out by working on saving and loading, then I continued on to clean up the interface a bit and make it look somewhat like an actual program.

I also moved a lot of code around to places that made more sense, and set up the open files to be tabs in a TabContainer.

More progress on the ttrpg visual scripting thing:
Basic visual scripting is working for the nodes I've implemented so far!

In the first screenshot below, clicking start results in the console messages in the second screenshot.

I would consider this a successful proof of concept.

Then I've got the elements scene, which is where I'm building out the node types and conceptualizing what elements go into ttrpgs and how to represent them. Like I said, they're completely nonfunctional right now. I'm still brainstorming a lot of how I want this all to work.

Right now, the editor is barebones and looks like this. I'll make it prettier and more functional later. Probably. Maybe. Here I've just plopped down a bunch of random nodes to show I've got the instancing setup working, but they're completely nonfunctional right now.

Here's a picture of my cat deciding my *literally actively typing* hand is best served as her head rest, to cleanse your timeline a bit.

Weighing in here because I have Tabbies, but I was earlier trying to work out a way to wordify himboism but for pets because one of my girls enjoyed the scritches so much she somersaulted off the desk into my lap. Cat tax attached.
