I don't get how Central & South America as a whole aren't super pissed off by US policy that ostensibly applies to them as well.

As it becomes clearer how much illegality is happening under Trump's second term, I expect him to ramp up the campaign for a third term, if for no other reason than to protect himself from prosecution and jail time.
