I hate that it has come to this, but my biomom has been partly paralyzed due to gallbladder issues sustained throughout much of this year. She’s recovered several vital functions (speaking, eating solid food, breathing on her own), but her limbs remain incapacitated. Please help if you can.

Trump’s HHS put me on “non-disciplinary” admin leave today. This was retaliation for speaking up. Moves like this are designed to silence us. Let’s not let.

I guess I am hitting a nerve, because they just put me on admin leave.

For all you "stop going on about Russia's involvement" people out there:
The Kremlin disguised a nearly $100 mn payment to Trump in the form of a brokered real estate deal... and both Jeffrey Epstein and William Pulte were involved in the deal. That's very interesting.

When the Russian ambassador walked into the Potsdam state parliament on BSW’s invitation, one woman stood up and protested. Police didn’t question him — they questioned her, and thanks to her and journalist Thorsten Metzner filming it, we have a clear snapshot of these upside-down priorities.👇

the main problem with Woke 1 was the police abolition stuff

not because it was unpopular with the public, but because- and I mean this sincerely, not as a flippant joke-things like MeToo were hindered by the left's inherent, compassionate skepticism about whether people should be arrested for crimes

single member districts are bad
I'm going to die on the hill that Utah's redistricting outcome is actually bad for democracy.

We don't have a single competitive congressional district which means parties can retreat to polarizing treatment of each other rather than build roots in communities in order to win close races.
For decades, any Utah Democrat who wanted to go to Congress had to campaign as a moderate or conservative. Now that the state has a solidly blue congressional seat, though, running as a progressive is suddenly an effective strategy.

No sleep for the next four years
people are being very flip about the possible harms of getting rid of the filibuster *right now* in a way that imo undermines the core case that the Republic is in special peril. it's clearly all downside until 2027 even if you grant electoral backlash! Dems can't have a trifecta until 2029!

The bishops' decision formalizes a yearslong process for the U.S. church to address transgender health care. They also approved a special message on immigration, expressing concern over enforcement an...
