dancer | noun | one that dances
prancer | noun | one that walks or moves in a spirited manner

I can eat pretty much anything, but I don't like to gnaw on bones, and I'm certainly not touching @downieseb.bsky.social 's insects. Since I grew up with a dad who enjoyed French cuisine, I ate escargots at a young age. There are not many Germans who enjoy snails. In France, on the other hand... 1/2

IMHO, this is one of the best TAL episodes out there. It's also one of the best long-form radio features I've heard.

Question: “Why don’t you do an MBA?”

For context: Jack served as head of the Office of Legal Counsel during the Bush administration. He’s widely regarded—especially in conservative legal circles—as a leading authority on executive power. The fact that he’s expressing this view in such stark terms is significant.
Harvard Law School’s Jack Goldsmith:

“In short, if the Post’s facts are correct, it appears that Special Operations Forces committed murder when the ‘two men were blown apart in the water, as the Post put it.’”

As usual, Pete Hegseth is ignoring pretty much everything. Many nations see grave violations of the law, and the commanding general for this theatre quit suddenly. Most importantly, Hegseth is incapable of ethical considerations. You cannot kill a drug runner who poses no immediate danger.
a lot of words, none of them denying that Hegseth gave an order to kill helpless people who were stranded at sea after he blew up their boats
