If only there were some governing body that could make rules and punishments to keep up the illusion that fairness is important. I don't see how this can be a net positive for the conference as a whole

I don't think you can prevent what we're seeing with Kiffin/LSU/Ole Miss with better contracts or tweaks to the calendar.
I think we need a sense of professional honor, and failing that, *shame*, to actually set standards of acceptable behavior for coaches and admins

Dumpsterall being official makes this the worst UF hire in my lifetime and I was an undergrad for the Zook years.
