I'm also reminded of a study that found that men in university who were accused of rape were actually HELPED ACADEMICALLY by the accusation, because universities gave them so goddamned many extra resources and accomodations. Poor little birthday boys helped through THEIR difficult time.

This is one of the reasons why I balk at the idea that men are afraid to be perceived as abusive. In many cases, that perception is actually key to their success, because other people strive to make excuses for their behavior, deny it, redeem them, and elevate them in the process.

anyway i would once again like to reiterate that if anyone has any PREDNISONE left over, human or veterinary, PLEASE mail it to me, i beg of you. the vet demands he come in and get very expensive bloodwork before they'll give refills even tho he's been stable on it for a decade

Have you even read the budget? It's absolutely not a deterrent to the US. Buying their gear, selling them our natural resources, and increasing our intelligence cooperation with them is making. the. problem. worse.
