Yeah, it seems to be a weird Nordic shops justifying another sale for no particular reason - I only did Thanksgiving in the US once, in Vegas, in 2021. People didn't really seem to do anything extraordinary for the Friday. Granted, 2021 was a weird year, and people are always a bit weird in Vegas.

Yup, det er ganske villt - har til og med støtt på (stort sett brittiske) diplomatkvinner i høye hæler midt i ørkenenen i Midtøsten og Nord Afrika...badasses!

Aj, har vært på konferanser i bankbyggninger i Oslo og ja, det er mye betong - gode såler er definitivt et must der. Det gjelder dog også på konferanser i FN-bygget i NYC og slikt, hvor jeg ofte ser mange som angrer bittert på at de bestemte seg for å dra på konferanse i høye heler…

Proper soles are a must-have for conferences. This is a reason I often wear hiking boots to conferences...step counts for conference days are usually higher than for hiking days anyways - and you're usually on a terrible concrete floor that kills feed & knees.
