Sure at schools like Rutgers. At most major cfb P4 schools it definitely does. LSU is a massive football school and football is a huge revenue generator for the rest of their athletics.

Tbf at alot of universities sports is self funding and is its own entity. Football usually pays for the rest of the athletic department on its own.
