Seems like we are going to lose him either way, cancer or not.

I can’t believe how sudden this was, very like when Schmoopis passed. One day he’s fine and the next we are facing a probable terminal illness.

Just three months (a couple days over) after Schmoopis died August 26.

Per the vet it might be pancreatitis, some sort of GI issue, cancer.

They will observe him and may get a specialist involved. If he,s still not eating, might put in a feeding tube.

Im terrified of what awful decision we may have to make—and I’m grateful we didn’t bring home an empty cat carrier.

Diarrhea, extreme lethargy (walking only, very slowly, head down/tail down), clearing his throat, gulping, hoarse voice, no appetite (even with the appetite stim).

Just now we got him to eat one of those gravy pouches, and he has been drinking water.

What a cute little guy! And wow, that looks exactly like Klein and the kittens (his back towards them, unamused airplane ears)!

Yeah. He is seriously overwhelmed. Gonna take several steps back and go slower. 🙁

Thanks for having my back about the house! Things have been a lot busier than it has been around here in…well, years. We love having new members of the family, but it does tire me out sometimes. ☺️

It is DEFINITELY a rare thing to have the girls (especially Busy - I didn’t know just how on-the-nose her name is!) resting peacefully.

As for sweet old Klein, last night was the first day that he’s allowed himself to sleep in their presence. Until now he’s been always on guard with them around. 🧡
