Some people still talk to me which I appreciate, but since 2021/22, a lot fewer people seem to wanna talk

Got my new server rack put together last night :D
Not sure what happened to my server's boot drive, but I had to reinstall the OS. Everything is back up and running now though
Now I just need to get my second server so I can make a mastodon instance as an alternate/backup account

I wouldn’t say I don’t fit in, because there are lots of people here who share my interests
I guess I just feel like I don’t fit in social way? Idk, I just always see others having convos and I feel like I’m doing something wrong

I wish I was better at making friends past the “passing acquaintance” stage
Like I want friends that I can take a trip to go see, or hang out with for more than 5 minutes at a con
I see so many people here with those kinds of friends and I just socially suck at getting to that phase with others
